Abstract

The results of the March 2021 Susenas calculation, the poverty line in the Special Region (D.I.) Yogyakarta is IDR 482,855 per capita per month.

The food poverty line is recorded at 350,0007 rupiah per capita per month and the non-food poverty line

In March 2021 the number of poor people in D.I. Yogyakarta increased to 506.45 thousand people. Thus, the percentage of poor people in D.I. Yogyakarta in March 2021 by 12.80 percent. One semester earlier, in September 2020, the number of poor people in this province was 503.14 thousand people or 12.80 percent of the total population of D.I. Yogyakarta.

The poor population in urban areas increased by 5.5 thousand people to 358.66 thousand people. The poor population in rural areas decreased by 2.1 thousand people to 147.80 thousand people.

The poverty depth index increased to 2,420 and the poverty severity index increased to 0.649.
