Abstract

The rice harvested area in 2021 will reach around 107.51 thousand hectares, a decrease of 3,042 hectares or 2.75 percent compared to 2020 which was 110.55 thousand hectares.
Rice production in 2021 is 556.53 thousand tons of GKG, an increase of 33,135 tons of GKG or 6.33 percent compared to 2020 which was 523.39 thousand tons of GKG.
Rice production in 2021 for the population's food consumption will reach 316.12 thousand tons, an increase of 18,821 tons or 6.33 percent compared to rice production in 2020 which was 297.30 thousand tons.
