Abstract

The city of Yogyakarta in March 2022 experienced inflation of 0.77 percent due to an increase in the consumer price index for the food group by 1.39 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.35 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.37 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.75 percent; health group by 0.01 percent; transportation group by 0.96 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.02 percent; recreation, sports and culture groups by 0.07 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 0.87 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 1.49 percent. While the education group is relatively stable.
In 90 cities whose inflation rate was calculated, 88 CPI cities experienced inflation and 2 CPI cities experienced deflation.
The calendar inflation rate (March 2022 to December 2021) is 1.41 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (March 2022 to March 2021) is 2.95 percent.
