Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in October 2023 was 106.60, an increase of 0.99 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 105.55.

The Yogyakarta Special Region NTP in October 2023 reached 106.60, an increase of 0.99 percent compared to the previous month, namely 105.55. NTP for the food crops subsector is 107.94; horticulture subsector 123.52; smallholder plantation crops subsector 108.18; livestock subsector 98.01; and the fisheries subsector 91.23.

The increase in the combined NTP index this month was influenced by the increase in three subsectors, namely: horticulture by 2.87 percent, smallholder plantation crops by 2.59 percent, and food crops by 1.46 percent.

Meanwhile, two subsectors fell: livestock 1.51 percent and fisheries 0.07 percent. The Yogyakarta Special Region Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in October 2023 was recorded at 108.71, an increase of 1.14 percent compared to the previous month of 107.48.

The rural Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in October 2023 generally reached 121.48, experiencing inflation of 0.44 percent compared to the CPI in the previous month which was recorded at 120.95.

Of the 34 provinces in October 2023, 30 provinces rose and 4 provinces fell. The highest increase in NTP occurred in South Kalimantan at 2.53 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in the Riau Islands at 1.16 percent.
